Brett Wald, EA
Brett Wald, has almost ten years of experience in the field of accounting and taxation. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the Barney School of Business at the University of Hartford in Bloomfield, CT.
Brett specializes in individual income tax, computerized accounting systems, internal processes, sustainability and profitability analysis. He is licensed as an Enrolled Agent, (EA), which is a federally authorized tax advisor, empowered by the U.S. Department of Treasury to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. EAs are granted unlimited practice rights to represent taxpayers including individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, trusts, and any entity with tax reporting requirements. Brett is a member of the National Association of Tax Practitioners, (NATP), which is the leading tax professional organization in the country. With over 24,000 members nation-wide, NATP focuses on education, ethics and excellence within the tax professional community.
Brett currently serves as the Vice-President of the CT chapter of NATP. He recently served on the board of directors for the VNA of Northwest CT. He has also volunteered his time as an instructor for the Young Entrepreneurs Academy for the NW CT Chamber of Commerce.
A native of NW CT, Brett currently lives in Torrington with his wife and two young daughters. When not working, Brett enjoys time with his family, playing fantasy football and various computer games.
