Our boutique firm offers a unique array of tax preparation, representation, and advisory services, a variety of accounting, bookkeeping services, as well as a wide range of business consulting services which include, startups, sustainability, and services designed for the small business owner.

Kris has almost thirty years’ experience in the field of accounting, taxation, and entrepreneurship. Earning her Doctor of Business Management degree, her field research focused on federal tax compliance for small businesses located in the state of Connecticut.

Brett Wald is the Managing Partner at the Roberts Tax Group where he leads and supports a dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional accounting, tax, and tax representation services to individuals and small businesses.

Hope brings a strong background in office management and customer service, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for helping others.
Se eun Kim
Staff Accountant
Se eun Kim is a Staff Accountant with the Roberts Tax Group where she focuses on bookkeeping for closely held businesses, federal and state compliance, and individual tax preparation and planning.
Lisa Angevine Bergs
Administration Assistant & Marketing
Lisa grew up on Angevine Farm in Warren, Connecticut. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and later a Master of Science in Elementary Education. In 2014, Lisa re-entered the marketing field, working with various businesses and serving as Executive Director of the Connecticut Christmas Tree Growers Association, where she continues to support agricultural businesses.
Lisa has worked with The Roberts Tax Group for the past eight years.
In addition to her work at RTG, Lisa is co-owner of Angevine Farm in Warren, where her family grows Christmas trees and pumpkins, creates wreaths, and operates a seasonal gift shop.
Lisa has lived in Torrington for the past 37 years. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ansis; their children, Haley (and her husband Rob), Jordan (and his fiancé Amelia); and their two fur babies, Milo and Gracie.
