Brett Wald & Staci Orlando Pass Enrolled Agent Exam
Brett Wald, Partner, and Staci Orlando, Tax Senior, have both passed the Enrolled Agents exam!!!
An Enrolled Agent is a federally authorized tax advisor, empowered by the U.S. Department of Treasury to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service.
According to the National Association of Enrolled Agents, there are only about 50,000 Enrolled Agents (EAs) licensed in the United States. Unlike CPAs or Attorneys, which are licensed state by state, an EA is a federal license. EAs are granted unlimited practice rights to represent taxpayers including individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, trusts, and any entity with tax reporting requirements.
EA are required to demonstrate a high level of competence in all areas of taxation, representation, and ethics. They are regulated by the U.S. Department of Treasury Circular 230 and must meet certain levels of additional education, including ethics, every year.
Congratulations Brett & Staci!!!!
